Duplicates and near-duplicates
Bit-identical copies are found by content hash. Burst shots and near-identical frames are found by perceptual hash, with Strict, Balanced and Relaxed to set how eager the match is.
Screenshots and blurry photos
The receipts, the recipes, the fifteen attempts at one shot. Grouped by month so you can settle a whole trip in a tap.
Large videos, and Shrink Videos
Your biggest files first. On iPhone, Breeze can re-encode a clip to HEVC so it stays in your library at a fraction of the size â the original is removed only once the smaller copy is provably saved.

Privacy
No account, no servers, nothing uploaded.
Breeze has no sign-up, collects no analytics, embeds no advertising or tracking SDK, and has no back end to send your library to. Scanning, hashing, merging and encrypting all happen on the phone in your hand.
Your photos never leave the sandbox
Sizes are read from the platform's own media database and matching runs over small in-memory thumbnails. Breeze never exports an original â doing so would copy your library into the app and, on iPhone, pull everything down from iCloud.
One-time codes are stripped before they are written
On Android, the notification history redacts digit runs from anything that looks code-shaped at the moment it is captured â not when it is displayed. History older than 30 days is dropped automatically.
"Freed" means freed
On iPhone a deleted photo sits in Recently Deleted for 30 days and keeps its bytes the whole time. Breeze says ready to free for those and freed only for the files it really erased.
